They play therefore a key role in support to several strategic sectors, such as the agrifood and the environment.   The availability of fit-for-purpose RMs enables scientific research and industrial development in the agrifood sector, supporting not only research institutes and analytical labs, but also food inspection and control agencies, as well as food companies in producing foods (or feeds, food contact materials, etc.) complying with EU and national regulations and being competitive on the market.   PROGRAM
